4.0 out of 5 stars The Fifth Dawn, 21 Feb 2005
This book is the third in the Mirrodin Block of books and continues the storyline in the same way as the first two books, its certainly a good read and there is an intriguing ending but I did get bored of the sheer amount of confrontations which led to the main characters running away again and again.

Apart from that this is a good ending to the Mirrodin saga.

I do have a warning though: Some of this book will not make sense unless you have some knowledge of Mirrodin block in Magic the Gathering Card Game and some of the previous blocks. Although this trilogy is set in a different plane to the other Magic books there is a link up in the end which requires some knowledge of previous blocks to fully understand.

I'd recommend this trilogy to anyone who plays Magic the Gathering and knows of the Mirrodin-Darksteel-Fifth Dawn cycle. I'd also recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the general sci-fi/fantasy Genre and looking for an intriguing read about life on another plane.
