5.0 out of 5 stars A great book about love'n'life'n'loss, 1 Sep 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: B.Monkey (Paperback)
This guy writes all these okay, so-so, but really pretty crappy tv costume drama things, but this is great. simple, true, and all of that. a book about love'n'life'loss and the buzzing of it all, that burnt my heart a bit. I'm just browzing, didn't plan on reviewing a book came across this so i just thought i'd say how good it was. someone not entirely unlike b monkey nicked my copy but that's another book. eh, that's it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tubestation grafitti scrawls "Read My Name!", 28 April 2009
By J. Griffiths "Jemima" - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: B.Monkey (Paperback)
This enchanting and uber qwerky story was a right of passage for me and has remained a firm favourite through every stage of my life - a close friend to curl back into. It is utterly raw and will leave you flooded with adrenaline, and tingling with emotional charge.

It is written entirely from two perspectives, alternating by chapter. The lovers are two oddities: a young italian woman, beautiful and wild, and an quaintly introverted english primary school teacher. We get to see each ones private perspective as they realise their unlikely pairing and then fight to protect it. B Monkey is compelling and divine. It is filled with gorgeous little details. The characters are rich, strange and addictive.
