5.0 out of 5 stars perfect summer thriller!, 14 April 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Cutter (Hardcover)
CUTTER is the fastest read on the current crop of serial killer thrillers. Once you take it up, you won't put it down. The Farmer is the creepiest multiple murderer since Hannibal Lector, and he makes Harrris' Cannibal look civilized. You'll be rooting for Jimmy Parisi and his copper wife Natalie to nail The Farmer in a conclusion that will stay with you a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jack the Ripper is alive!, 19 Mar 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Cutter (Hardcover)
Thomas Laird's modern day Farmer is Jack the Ripper bloody-well come alive. Although you know who the killer is early on, the author does a masterful job of leading you on the chase in a thrilling conclusion. I hope the author carries out more books using the Chicago detective, Jimmy Parisi. I purchased this book based on the review in the "Independent" and was not disappointed.
