4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read and Informative, 16 Jul 2001
By dormy6@btinternet.com (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
I found it a very interesting read and well written, Muir clearly worked hard on this project to bring the reader into grips with the series with background information and other surprises in to. The book is written in 4 main sections Prt.1 The History, Prt.2 The Episodes, Prt.3 Critical Commentary, Prt.4 Fans and Collectibles followed by an epiogue, consisting of 12 B/W photo's (not all space:1999), 2 illustrations and 9 B/W merchandise photo's. The cover is very bland, being Blue with embost silver text, which rather makes it look like an old Readers Digest Novel!, however don't let that put you off, it's contents are what is important and if nothing else, it's another space:1999 collectible to go for.
