I had been waiting impatiently for this book to be published - as has been the case for all the previous books in the O'Malley series. This one was not a disappointment.

I was delighted that this novel introduced some new characters and a totally different plot, but we also re-visit all the other members of the O'Malley family we met earlier in the series. However this is a stand-alone novel, it is not necessary to have read the other books in the series to get full enjoyment out of this one.

It does finish on a note of expectation. It is not that the story about Rachel and Cole is not complete, but the way is opened up for the next book in the series about the last 'brother' in the family - Stephen. So I'm now waiting for 'The Rescuer' to be published! Keep writing Dee.
