1.0 out of 5 stars Dreadful waste of my time, 28 Jun 2009
By Mr. Aj Gow "Al the reader" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought this book as a stop gap during a recent holiday.
This book is for paranoid weapons fetishists and probably ideal for 13 yr old boys who don't care for facts.

The characters are reasonably ok but there were a couple of plot holes and the general story was dire.
Some of the stroy was laughable. A 7yr old german boy learning to fly in a Fokker Spinne? Obviously the author hasn't got a clue.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fair but it's not Clancy, 2 Jan 2007
By Jay "The Amazon Reviewer" (Mauritius) - See all my reviews
(TOP 500 REVIEWER)
The book has a small beginning, long middle, and short end. There are groups of neo-Nazi's in Germany that try to take over people throughout the world with video hate games on computers. Paul Hood and his team are in Germany buying things for Op-Center and get mixed up in the mess. That is all I can say. I don't want to spoil the end for anyone, so you will have to read it yourself.

1.0 out of 5 stars Op-Center series goes from bad to worse., 29 Jun 1999
By A Customer
I have been a long time Tom Clancy fan but these Op-Center one week novels are not only goofy, they are bad. That from someone as talented as Clancy, is sad. Please get back with Jack Ryan and let these other people write on their own...

I'm sorry to agree with most reviewers. This is a very 'cheap' novel. Had it to be finished in a week? I also must conclude that mister Clancy (or ....? Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars This was a really good book.
Another great thriller from the Op-Center seris. The proper dosage of action and intrige keeps the reader going page after page after page.

3.0 out of 5 stars Weak effort-- why so many books?
I'm not sure I understand why Tom Clancy feels the need to put his name on so many books, computer games, tv shows, etc. Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars shallow and just plain bad
the characters were one dimensional almost beyond belief. I read this fresh off of without remorse and the crashing down sensation I experienced was almost more than I could bear

2.0 out of 5 stars Not realistic, nor is it entertaining.
This is a very weak effort. Why does Clancy feel the need to churn out so many books? Hasn't he taken enough of our money? Read more

This book is seriously lacking in all areas-- character, plot and reality. Recommend Bob Mayer's Special Forces books which Amazon is now carrying. Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars A ghost writer's TRASH CENTER
CRINGE. Another spin-off novel about Jeff Rovin's Op Center. Tom Clancy can do a lot better than put his name on this piece of trash. This is dire. Read more
