2.0 out of 5 stars I hope George doesn't read it....., 14 April 2009

(REAL NAME)
I love George Strait, but this account of his life is terrible. It has been 2 years since I finished the book, but the author's awful tone style still sticks with me. The book doesn't contain any first-hand accounts from George, and is basically a systematic account of his album releases, half hearted reviews by the author and numerous copies of interviews George has given to others magazines and radio stattions. The author does attempt to interview other associates of George, none of which are very credible, and seems to always ask the same question - "donlt you think George Strait is such a great guy". He may well be, but it gets a bit boring after the 20th time....
