Volume one of these books was exactly what it said it was, 'Art of'. Volume two is different. Credit to Marvel for not simply doing more of the same. This time the book almost reads as a 'History of'.
The book works decade by decade highlighting the cover art of the comics at the time. It really is fascinating to see the development and changes in technique. Another wonderful facet is the anecdotes from various people, such as the artists themselves and others, including Stan 'The Man' Lee.
This book, like its predecessor, is an excellent addition to any Marvel fans collection.
