5.0 out of 5 stars A must read for every X-Men fan, 22 Nov 2000
By A Customer
This story is considered a classic among most x-men fans. It took me a while to find this TPB, although i do own the original comics, but this book now stands proudly among my other TPB's. In short the story: Demons have taken over, every building and items have been given life. Amongst all of this, Madelyn Prior, the wife of Scott Summers (cyclops) of X-Factor, and clone of Jean Grey, betrays her teammates of the x-men for a lot of power. She becomes the Goblin Queen. X-Factor (the original X-men, Cyclops, Angel, Beast, Marvel Girl and Icemen) together with the X-Men and the New Mutants now have to fight the Goblin Queen who has allied herself with the demons. Scott's brother Alex also joined Goblin Queen. What's at stake? Scott's son, Nathan (who later becomes the Warrior Cable in the future) and all of mankind ofcourse. The climax of the story takes place between Goblin Queen and Jean Grey, and only one walkes away alive.

Even if you own the original comics, i can recommend this book. Not only is it easier to borrow it to a friend who hasn't read it yet, it also looks great in between the other TPB's of the X-Men.
