As stated by a previous reviewer, there were a lot of typos and IMHO the font used is horrible! A lot of output from examples but with some missing steps especially in the introduction to RMAN. Also, it does not follow the type of questions you will get in the OCA exams, and Transcender is the way to go for this.

Nevertheless, you will need to use other material in addtion to the above to get through the exam(s). Unfortunately, the boot camp insisted on using these books. My suggestion for passing the exam is to use The Oracle Press All-in-one 10g OCP book in addtion to the Transcender self-testing engine.

I used this material as part of a bootcamp to gain my OCA and OCP exams. Overall it did what it said it should and provided a decent amount of information required. However on a few occasions I found some erros that I had to investigate and that would have caused a failed answer otherwise. Background processes listed incorrectly, RBAL listed as OBAL. It also fell short in a few areas and I had to source information from the Oracle Press book that I had instead.

Didn't use the CD so can't comment on the practise exams. I would however recommend the Transcender test engine in that respect.
