If you think this book and this book only will get you through your CCNA then think again. The book references it's diagrams incorrectly and you will need quite a bit of prior cisco and general networking knowledge in order to understand what is going on. While the chapters are well laid out the content of each chapter seems to be thrown together at random. One minute he talks about Fram Relay, then diverses into ISDN and then comes back to Frame Relay about four pages later. Only recommended if you have attended the Cisco CCNA course.

This book is essentially a condensed version of Lammle's CCNA Study Guide; it has all the salient points but without the background, explanations or labs. This book alone won't get you through CCNA but used as a revision aid in conjunction with the Sybex CCNA Study Guide it's ideal. It is also pretty accurate regarding its predictions regarding exam content so it is worth the money for that alone.

This is a handy book to read on the train, I read it for my revision after reading the study guide. It refreshes all that you've read and it really helped me to pass the exam at the first sitting. It covers all the important aspects for the CCNA exam especially the IOS commands. Good book to get with your study guide. Thanks Todd
