5.0 out of 5 stars A LESSON TO OTHER WRITERS, 29 Jan 2002
By A Customer
This book is a revelation, I have wasted so much time trying to learn Autocad mostly because other books supposedly written for beginners, waste so many pages explaining the difference between this version and the previous version, and then waste a load more pages teaching you how to work windows. David Frey doesn't treat you as a computer moron, he treats you as someone that has a little computer experience but no Autocad training whatsoever, the lessons build on each other in a way that has clearly been given much thought, It's a fantastic book, buy it if you want to learn Autocad for the first time. I never thought I would be giving any book five stars but I'm pleased to say this one has to be rewarded.

5.0 out of 5 stars An ideal beginners guide to autocad., 17 Sep 2001
This book is a must for anyone wishing to learn Autocad from scratch. The book contains easy to understand yet comprehensive tutorials to bring the reader up to a sound level in 2D drafting. The technical content is more than ample and the manner in which it is put across to the reader is excellent.
