4.0 out of 5 stars The best Afghan cookery book I've found so far..., 19 April 2002
By A Customer
I have searched high and low for a good Afghan cookery book with no luck,Persian cookery books are more Iranian based, but this is the one. Apart from everyday Afghan recipes, the author provides recepies for all occasions. As you can imagine not all ingredients are easy to come by outside Afghanistan but Helen Saberi comes up with great alternatives that are easy to find. The only let down is that it looks more like a novel and so is awkward to use whilst cooking. Nevertheless I still highly recomended it.
