You can't learn to speak Albanian from this phrasebook, however the pronounciation guide is excellent and the phrases listed cover quite comprehensively what you are likely to need to say.

I have used this as a companion to "Colloquial Albanian" by Isa Zymberi. Basically, you can use the teach yourself book & tape to teach yourself Albanian with the Kosovan pronounciation, then use this Phrasebook to adapt your pronounciation (if necessary) to the Standard Albanian usage.

The pronounciation guide is clear enough that you should be able to use the phrases contained in it in Albania and have a reasonable chance of being understood.
