Product Description
Synopsis
Silent Grief is a book about healing. More than twenty million Americans have lost a loved family member or friend to suicide. Many of these survivors have suffered severe medical or psychological problems as they have tried to understand what happened and to go on with their lives. It is for these survivors that Christopher Lukas, a survivor himself, and Henry Seiden, a psychologist, have written Silent Grief.

From the Author
Reflection ten years after writing the book
Except that discussion is a little, but only a little, easier, not much has changed for the survivor of suicide. Over these ten years since the first edition we continue to get phonecalls and notes thanking us for the opportunity the book provides for thinking about and thinking through things the survivor thought he or she was entirely alone with.
