I bought this book to help me get the best out of choosing & using a GPS (which I have since bought using Internet/Magazine reviews).
The book is practically ALL America (with a little Canada & Europe mentioned in passing). Most pages are on American Mapping & it only tends to cover the big three GPS manufacturers.
It does explain how GPS & WAAS work, but does not cover EGNOS. If you want to use your GPS in the US, it's OK! I've used Dummies guides & they are usually excellent - but for anyone outside the US; Give this a miss!
