This book has everything a Novell 5 Administrator needs to know, the format is easy to read and digest. The step-by-step instructions are clear. The reference section enables you to find what you are looking for extremely quickly and you have all the commands at hand. A really good buy!!

This book covers all the important aspects of designing, installing, configuring and running a Netware 5 network not to mention Z.E.N. works and Netscape FastTrack Server. And it covers those aspects a just the right depth too.

If you're looking for a book that covers the more advanced aspects then you might want to supplement this book with something else. Personally I feel it's aimed more at the Intermediate reader although I doubt if Advanced readers will throw it out!

It's certainly given me the confidance to run a (small) NetWare 5 network having had little previous experience of the Novell Server OS. You could do a lot worse than to have a look at it.

This book is a godsend! The coverage is excellent without it becoming one of the 6 inch thick tomes that weighs more than a lorry. It's very well written and Kelly obviously knows her stuff. It's practical. My only complaint is that it's a little expensive but it's still worth it.
