From the Author
This book is great for all GroupWise 5.X systems.Shawn and I wrote this book with the daily needs of an administrator in mind, as well as the strategies for planning small to large GroupWise systems.
We included many tips and real world ideas for planning, implementing and supporting GroupWise 5.X systems. In addition, we include solid strategies for integrating GroupWise into Novell Directory Services (NDS).
Online and printed revisions for new versions of the software will be coming out, but until Novell changes the architecture of GroupWise (possibly sometime late 1998), this book is very valuable to all GroupWise 5.X administrators. The detailed message flows and troubleshooting tips will be a big help as well.
Shawn and I both hope you get a lot out of this book, and use it to successfully administer your GroupWise 5.X system.
Sincerely, Rick McTague, October 1997
