5.0 out of 5 stars Review of tomcat bible, 28 Jul 2005
This was one of the first books i browsed through on tomcat, and just but skinning it's contents i bought it.

Being newish to java and had to do my MSc project on a java web application i didnt really know where to start.

This book not only showed how to set up tomcat, but a detailed how to use ANT and JUNIT then proceeded to show how to build a web application which was very easy to follow.

Not only did the web applicatio make use of the MVC pattern but also completed part of it using jakarta struts.

In conclusion this book doesnt just show you how to set up the tomcate server, it shows build and deployment of web application using java
