4.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful - get off to a good start with this book, 18 April 1999
By A Customer
As a beginner I found this book to be a good starting point for learning about the three separate areas of the singular C++Builder package. These areas are, how to use the C++Builder interface, the C++ language and on how to connect the two together.

The book is quite easy to read, covering a selection of useful topics each with sufficient easy to follow C++ code samples accompanied by an uncomplicated analysis.

You will probably need another book just on the C++ language alone, as the section in this book is just enough to get you going so to keep it easy to digest, once you've got the basics you'll need other books to go into more detail.

Having read this book I can now make sense of the Teach Yourself in 14 Days book that came with C++Builder and of the C++Builder product as a whole.
