Book Description
"Sol Invictus: The God Tarot" is a Tarot deck and book set that seeks to explore the many faces of the Divine Masculine through the stories of Gods, heroes, and historical men throughout the ages. Both Major Arcana and Minor Arcana are fully illustrated, conveying the meanings of the cards as well as the myths of each particular deity/figure. The Court Cards have been renamed Awakening (Page), Quester (Knight), Nurturer (Queen), and Master (King) to better fit the deck's God-oriented theme.
Not just a deck for men, the God Tarot is designed so that anybody can explore the many faces of the Divine Masculine, whether he be Odin, Buddha, Jesus, Ra, Kokopelli, Robin Hood, Enki, Anansi, and more.
The companion book to the deck is over 300 pages long, and full of information on the deities and figures found in the deck. It retells their stories and myths, discusses their symbolism, origins, and history, and gives the divinatory meanings for each of the cards. The book also features several unique Tarot spreads created exclusively for "Sol Invictus: The God Tarot", inspired by the figures within the deck.
