I must admit to having been disappointed with this book. Though itcomes from a renowned stable, I found this volume to be fairly routine and in no way distinguished. Its hefty price tag did little to endear me to it and I was, needless to say, expecting it to stand head and shoulders above its competitors considering its not inconsiderable cost. Schiffer Publishing have produced many high quality illustrated books which have proven themselves an invaluable tool to researchers and collectors alike. I am afraid this volume fails to live up to the sense of expectation the title and cover photograph generate. I gave this book a wide berth - especially considering the availability of other similar titles, all of which leave the Bank Manager in a distinctly more cheerful frame of mind!
