1.0 out of 5 stars An improved version? I think not!, 7 Mar 2001
By gryhn@online.no (Oslo, Norway) - See all my reviews
I read the 1988 version of _Fusion Fire_, which was a quite enjoyable read. So when i saw this trilogy (of which _Fusion Fire_ is the second book) I just bought it, without checking the book out, since I _thought_ I knew what I was buying. Which I didn't. I managed to read five or six chapters of the first book before giving up, and only skimmed through enough of the second book to verify that the original story was completely butchered. The third I won't even bother to open. A small comfort remains: The used-book stores usually have something that I can trade these with.
