5.0 out of 5 stars An excellant book to begin programming, 18 May 2001
By A Customer
When i purchased this book i knew nothing about C or C++, this book helped to give me an insight into basic rules and operations of C++ programming, now after only 3 weeks i'm ready to advance to C++ Plus Data Structures by the same author to further my knowledge of C++, great purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for beginners..., 27 Jan 2009
If you know absolutely nothing about programming and computing basics then this book will take you slowly and clearly through it step-by-step. However, If you already know how to program in another Object Oriented language, then this book will merely identify the differences in syntax.
