This book is perfect for the individual who's open to traveling alone, but wants reliable background info. on an area/outfit being considered in their travel plans. The book gives stats on percentage male/female (great for ensuring you don't end up on an adventure trip that's testosterone-overloaded, or a vacation that's the opposite: weepy, weak, or fluffy.

I took a trip with Backroads Adventure Company (reviewed in the book) and found it to be EXACTLY as described. I highly recommend this book!
