Joel Fram is the former proprietor of a children's bookshop in New York City, and the author of I Heard It Through the Playground. Sandra Salmans is a Philadelphia based freelance writer. She is the co-author of The Working Mother's Guilt Guide, and has written extensively for the New York Times and Newsweek.
