This review is from: Ground Penetrating Radar: An Introduction for Archaeologists (Paperback)
GPR is one of the electromagnetic prospecting techniques. It has been used for determining subsurface features, including tunnels in Vietnam during the Vietnam War and unknown pyramids in Egypt. This book gives an excellent outline of the use of GPR for archaeological use, but much of this indirectly applies to many other users too. Survey layouts, software customization are all dealt with in straightforward, understandable terminology. Ideal for those embarking on initial GPR studies.
