Its an A4 sized book thats about a centimetre thick. Its also full colour and filled with screenshots.

It explains every weapon, every vehicle and every map in great detail and offers strategies for attacking each map.

It is worth buying this book at the same time as the game because it only really tells you about things you will learn within a few hours of playing anyway. The first few battles are the hardest though and this will give you a good head start.

Having never played any of the Battlefield games before, buying this with BF2 was a good idea. It has in-detail chapters about all the maps, guns, vehicles and loads of tester tips to keep you going.

Unfortunately, the guide is now out of date as the game has had several patches (including a new map), an expansion pack and two booster packs (optional patches that you pay for) but it lasted me well.

This guide is quite good if you are just about to buy the Game 'Battlefield 2' [PC DVD] Tells you about the weapons, vehicles, maps, and some tips in the guide.

The downs are that this guide hasnt been updated, and there isnt much of a point to get this book now because EA Games and Dice have released about 4 patches already for the game! Featuring new things in the game! Such as maps, vehicles, weapons bugs fixed etc.

This guide is for the person NEW to any of the Battlefield Games!
Not really if you're an experienced player.
