Frustrating sometimes, but the solution is there., 29 Aug 2004
Hitman Contracts can be a hard game to play sometimes. You start a new level without a disquise and dont know where to go first. Sometimes it seems like a big burden to go on and that is not like it is supposed to feel like, this being a game and all.The guide tells you supposedly everything. I found lots of useful information about general stuff here, details about the weapons, how the final score is calculated, what the sneaking button does(it also silences doors), stuff like that. The walkthrough gives at least one way to get silent assassin rank, and one or two optional ways. This removes the stressed feeling when you start a new level, because you now where to start. But the walkthrough appears to be very detailed, and sometimes the details are incorrect. Like, they say the room is empty, but sometimes there are people in the room. If you follow the instructions and are in route, not too early, not too late, the room probably would be empty at the time you get there. In fact it would be better to not mention anything about the enemy patrols than to mislead the reader like that. The guide has lots of pictures, some more informative than others. You'll figure out the details yourself, anyway. It shows you ways you maybe wouldn't have thought of yourself so it increases the value of the game. I recommend this guide to anyone that likes Hitman Contracts and wants to find more than one way to finish each level, but look at the big picture. Dont trust every detail, it's not always true!
