I bought this for my son's 7th birthday along with the actual game and he loves it! He almost spends more time looking at the book than he does playing the game. I think it is particularly good for younger players as I know that my son can become very frustrated if he gets 'stuck' in the game and the book can help him get past those places. He also enjoys looking at the pictures to see what is coming up next and he likes to find out the little details about the characters and their actions that he can find in the book.
