Having recently bought Age of Shadows and finding the included instruction manual somewhat lacking I decided to buy this Playguide. On the whole it could be said that the book covers most aspects of the game in depth, giving detailed descriptions of available skills, magic, and town/dungeon maps. My major criticism is that the book clearly hasn't been edited as well as it should have been. Some particular instances: outdated or incomplete dungeon spawn maps, contradicting animal taming information, no description of new leather types, etc. Overall I'd take this guide as a handy reference, but wouldn't treat the included information as gospel.
