4.0 out of 5 stars A huge improvement, 20 Jun 2002
I bought the first Prima guild for DAoC and found although its tables of data were quite useful, there was alot in the game that was unmentioned in the book. Most notably: maps of all areas including the frontiers, monster locations, items (both player crafted and mob dropped). This new book includes all that and more. It now includes more information for each class and has all the information for the class in one section. In short: a huge improvement.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent resource for any DAOC player., 5 Nov 2002

(REAL NAME)
I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore DAOC player but I have played on and off for the past several months. Having bought the original Prima guide and being rather disapointed with it, I wasn't sure what to expect from this "Atlas" but I must say that I was very pleasently surprised when it arrived today.
It's 300 solid pages of maps, 2 for each "zone" (1 plainly drawn showing paths and creature locations while the other shows ground contours and landmarks - both excellent quality), pictures of every city/town, maps of every dungeon (including Darkness Falls), and of course maps of the PvR areas.
Plus, every location comes with a blab about what to expect in there and amazingly a hunting guide complete with level ranges of all the monsters! This means newbies or players starting on a new realm won't have any trouble finding the ideal spot to hunt or where the target of a particular kill task is. To top it off every section also contains loot information and a list of available quests!
Prima have finally released a massively in-depth useful guide about hunting and travelling for any DAOC player and you really feel that a lot of effort went into creating it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A must for anyone not wanting to scavenge the net!, 15 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This book contains just about everything you want and need to know about Dark Age of Camelot. If you don't feel like visiting tons of sites to look for player input or trying to find what that 1 skill does. If you want more of a "professional" advice then this book is your best bet. It's formatted in an easy and understandable manner and contains all skills/spells and races/classes, everything.

1.0 out of 5 stars Total waste of money
Very disappointed with the guide.

It's just an atlas based on kistena's, but much worse, since is not that clear to see (and also in black/white). Read more
