Escape from Monkey Island is a fantastic game, but if you are a veteran of the Monkey Island series it should not pose you any real difficulties, it is the easiest one of the four. However there are points where a little help is handy and Prima's strategy guide is the kid for you. Clear guidelines and simple instructions, if you need some assistance, this is where to look. I give this 3 stars because MI regulars will only get stuck in a few places, so it won't be as useful to some as to others.

This book was good for the difficult bits but this game is the easiest out of the four so it wasn't of much use to me as an experienced MI gameplayer. To people new to the game this guide would be very useful. As I know how the game's puzzles work after playing the last games, the guide helped me on really hard parts but didn't get used as much as i used one in Monkey2: LeChucks Revenge. And the dungeons of LeChucks fortress. Although remember, Monkey Islands puzzles tend to be easier if you think logically, are good at problem solving and being a lateral thinker occaisionally helps! The guide is good and Prima has done it again in producing the best strategy guide around. Happy reading and playing!
