As a Sims Deluxe owner this guide covers the original sims and the expansion pack of Livin' it up/Livin' large that is included in the Deluxe edition, and I have found it invaluable in maintaining my Sims careers by being able to second guess what skills or friends they will need, not least how to build a good home for them and what to do when faced with the Grim Reaper, miserable clown or genie. Approach the crystal ball, genie lamp or chemistry set at your peril without this book! Although the relationship interaction tables are now out of date for owners of Hot Date/Holiday, the guide is virtually essential for those who are relatively new to the game, and I am sure even those who have being playing for a while will get something out of it.

This book is excellent. It helps you with loads of things like the crystal ball's riddles and tells you how to make your sims get promoted. It also tells you exactly what makes sims live rich sucsessful lives.

When I started reading this book it told me every thing i neeeded to know.Now I am a whiz trough the game and I am sure all the other books in this series are just as good.
