5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent history of the first decade of Gurney's cars, 5 Oct 2003
By Peter Fenelon - See all my reviews
(TOP 50 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
A concise, crisply-written and well-illustrated summary of the first decade or so of Eagles in F1, USAC Indy racing and Formula 5000. The cars and their development are thoroughly described, the key personalities inside AAR and the sponsorship deals that kept the team running are all described clearly, and through it all the determination and willpower of Daniel Sexton Gurney shines through. Stops with Eagle's foray into F5000 in the mid 1970s.
