Having read the myriad of gay fiction books available today, and realizing that so much of gay culture is simply not written about, Rob Rosen set out to cover it all. His characters represent those gay boys out there that like to do things in wacky excess. From drinking and drugs, to tattoos and piercings, from sex in strange places to plain, old strange sex, the main players in “Sparkle”, Secret and Sparkle, manage to get themselves into one mess after another. But what comes across to the reader most from chapter to hilarious chapter, is the love and sense of family gay people form between themselves.
