This is a great book! Very well written and wonderfully romantic....got so attached to the characters that I hated to have it end! I can't wait to read the next one in the trilogy (With Song)!!

I'm not usually a romance reader. I did get a copy of this book and was pleasantly surprised. From a man's point of view, the story was more than romance. The farm life during the depression was just as my grandfather described. Henry Ann was a woman who knew how to get things done. She managed her life, even though she was in love with a man who was tricked into marrying an unstable woman and stayed with her out of loyalty. The book had several sub-plots going that I found equally interesting. The author's protrayal of characters is very good. I want to read more books from this author.

The time is 1932. The depression is gripping the country, but people in the small town of Red Rock, Oklahoma live and love and cope with the hard times. Read more
