4.0 out of 5 stars nice summer read, 13 Aug 2006

I envy the easy that Patterson writes with. I have only read one bad book from him. I like the fact that he manages to publish many books in a year. I like that the chapters are short. And I love the ease that everything moves pure action. Once again this book is good read a real grabber!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read, 9 Aug 2006

This review is from: Lifeguard (Paperback)
I read all James Pattersons books and although I still prefer the Alex Cross series I enjoyed this book.

I read it in one day while on holiday. The story is intruiging and fast pace giving you a hero you can relate to and a villain you could hate!

Altogether another edition to a long line of JP non-put-down-ables!

5.0 out of 5 stars Patterson Is Back With His Best Yet., 3 Jun 2005

Well wow! From page 1 to the final page this is classy, stylish, fun, exciting, bloody and brilliant. The baddies are as nasty as they come and the blood as messy as ever.
Great characters from the hero Lifeguard to the FBI agent, with super villains. A true hollywood blockbuster and brings back what we like in Patterson's. The story flows at break neck speed and you really feel for the guy. Being accused of so many murders you lose count. I have read every Patterson book and this is definitely up there with the best of the best, how does he do it!
