About the Author

Jennifer Saunders is one half of the world-famous 'French & Saunders' duo. Leaping to fame as one of the 'alternative' Comedy Store comics in the eighties, she has starred in numerous Comic Strip films and TV specials, before launching the hit BBC series, Absolutely Fabulous, in 1992.

This is a great book for any fans of Absolutely Fabulous. The photos are great, the handwritten notes are cool and there are some very funny stories about casting and fliming the show. The letters from different cast members to Jennifer Saunders are funny as well. Basically if you love the show. You'll love the book. Fantastic.

WOW! This book is brilliant, it is one of a kind. If you're a fan of the show you'll love this book.

It's a book that can be read over and over again! The majority of the book is photographs of the actors/actresses in costume, but not actually playing the character, they're messing around, having a laugh or just relaxing etc. It's kind of an insight into the actors...

There are letters from the cast sent to Jennifer Saunders that are funny, esp. Joanna Lumley's, there are brilliant hand writted notes (Although at times it is a little difficult to read!), there are explantions to why certain things were put in the show, where the ideas came from, and there are even photos and details from scenes that didn't make the final cut in the show!

Everything is written by Jennifer Saunders, so it gives the reader an insight to what she really thinks!

A brilliant buy, well worth the �15!!!

As a great fan of Absolutely Fabulous and Jennifer Saunders I often wondered how much fun they had making the show. And now I know. The photos give a brilliant insight into the cast and characters and Jennifer's kindness of sharing some of her favourites with us was a wonderful idea. Her handwritten notes make the book just that little bit extra special. A definite keep sake for years to come and something fun to look at again and again.
