Review
The mind is the truly foreign country and that's where Jonathan Kellerman has staked his territory through the exploits of his psychologist-cum-special-police-investigator, Alex Delaware. In Therapy you're in Kellerman territory from page one. A seemingly incomprehensible murder twists and turns along the psych history of three victims whose only connection is the fact that they knew each other through therapy. In the hands of a lesser author the temptation would have been to put in place a complex plot and a convoluted storyline. Kellerman however understands his audience. Learning the facts piecemeal through Delaware we're taken into the fascinating world of the fragile human mind. Kellerman's strength lies in understanding that even those who heal minds are incapable of healing themselves. Greed, deceit and even murder afflict them just as they do lesser mortals. The message resonates with such power that you'll be sorry the last page has been reached and want to start reading it again. (Kirkus UK)
