War is madness. Only despondent despots and insane tyrants declare wars on others.

Read about the ancient Chinese sages' arguments against human conflicts.

War has been as old as the human history. It seems to be part and parcel of our civilisation, ingrained deeply in our psyche.

Dr Tan gives a good account of how the ancient Chinese sages look at the incessant conflicts during the Warring Dynasties 25 centuries ago. It defies common understanding why battles are still fought for no apparently convincing reason(s).
