this book kept my daughter quiet for hours! she just couldnt put it down until she had finished it.
one of her favorite books so far. the stories in hamish, morag and magduff are great for kids because as well as having exciting storylines the characters are actually good role models, eg one of the stories involved macduff finding school hard and getting bullied, but he overcomes it, and when i asked my daughter what she thought the moral of the story was
she said "never give up, whatever bad happens, keep going and dont give up"
