Synopsis
A portrayal of a young girl's misconception that she knows all she needs to about life. With the passing years the true learning process brings her tremendous grief. Laura, a teenager in the 1960's thought she knew it all in the permissive society. Married very young, she's soon disillusioned, she has three children in quick succession and suffers physical abuse in the marriage. She develops into a person in her own right and believes that material possessions are now the most important thing in her life, in order for her to achieve happiness. The possessions are achieved but at what cost emotionally and, even so, her world still collapses around her. So she's finally to make the important decision where her loyalties lie. Whatever she decides will have a tremendous impact on her future.
