About the Author
Nick Wastnage was born and educated in East Anglia. After school, he took a short-service commission in the Royal Marines, followed by a career in retail management. His books centre on sinister and evil actions carried out by seemingly normal people hiding behind a false persona. He lives with his family in Buckinghamshire.

When I read it I couldn't put it down I recommend everyone to buy it . I would like to give it 6 stars if I could I enjoyed the book a lot and it stays firmly on my desk again , very good work.

If you enjoyed the crisp, lean style of an early Grisham book like "The Firm", then you'll enjoy this.

The author easily grabs your interest with some good invention, and develops the plot quickly in a very objective, almost police incident report style - which is likely to appeal more to the male reader. That said, the two strongest characters are both women.

Whilst few of the peripheral characters seem worthy of our sympathy, the principal players are caught up in a fast moving story that grabs your attention; if you were in the mood you might devour this in a single session.

If you like a dark thriller with threat and menace, this is probably not for you. But if you like to be kept guessing, wondering how you might react if thrust into a similar situation,you'll enjoy this.
