Having been interested in Ancient Egypt for some time, I was extremly pleased to find this book on Egyption Mythology. Aswell as giving an A>Z listing of all the Egyption gods and goddesses (plus some from Persia, Asia Minor, Sumer and Babylon), it also has various chapters on aspects of the Egyptions religous believes. These chapters include, sacred animals, serpents and dragons, underworlds, and heroes and quests.
I found that this book is an excellent read and a good referance book. It is very easy to understand and I believe that it could be enjoyed by adults and children alike. Egyption Mythology deserves a space on book shelves in homes, schools and at any public library! A must have for any Ancient Egyption fan!
