Product Description

Synopsis

This work traces the influence of freemasonry upon French politics and society, aiming to illustrate how the autonomous organization of the Masonic Congress movement from the 1840s onwards placed freemasons in a position to discuss and implement republican reforms.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a must have...., 7 April 2000

I must admit, I know very little about france, and had very little interest in history. I read this book only because my father bought it, and I had nothing to read one day. From the very first page I couldnt leave this fine item of my hands. Great book.
