5.0 out of 5 stars Heart warming, human and very entertaining, 5 Jan 2001

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Rumpole's Last Case (Paperback)
What a relieve to see, that in this world people like Rumpole still hold up the banner for the little things in life! He is a character I would like to know. But perhaps I already know someone like him but as usual nowadays: he is overlooked because way too subtile to be up front and pushed aside by the loud and glittery! This book full of stories was a pleasure to read and its subtile wisdom will accompany me for the rest of my life. In every red wine I will enjoy from now on I will look to find "the flavour of Dance, and Provencial song, and sunburnt mirth, mixed with a dash of wild strawberries". Enjoy this book and You will know what I am thinking of.....
