5.0 out of 5 stars The first Perry Mason I read and it got me hooked!, 17 July 2002
By Illanos (St. Petersberg, Russia) - See all my reviews
This was the first Erle Stanley Gardner I read and it definitely won't be the last. Perry Mason and his assisstant Della Street are great characters which adds to the engaging mystery of murder and intrigue. The book doesn't drag at any point and ends with a clever twist. Just when you think the story is coming to the end and all the excitiment is over there is another suprise that seems obvious but brilliant once you discover it. I would definitely reccomend this novel!
