5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Up to Date Suggestions, 17 Mar 2005
I can't begin to explain how pleased I was when I started reading this book. I thought it would be at least a year or two out of date and the suggestions would be the same as every other book or magazine article I had read.

This is jam packed with useful alternatives to the 'norm' which every bride will appreciate in these modern times. Everything from seating plans to honeymoons to songs, flowers, themes and useful quotes from other brides and info on what the 'celebs' have done at their weddings.

I am happily working through it with a high-lighter marking out all the useful tips ready for my own wedding next year.

Well worth the money!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful for preserving your sanity, 26 Aug 2004
By A Customer
The thing I really liked about this book is that it has loads of really practical tips. It's not a narrative, but it's just very sensible about how to plan a wedding. It also has a lot of suggestions for making your wedding uniquely yours - especially without blowing your budget out of the water. Thanks to this guide, we ended up having a gorgeous wedding day in Scotland on the edge of Loch Lomond with a small party of 25 guests - (and the ceremony was conducted outdoors by a minister, which you can't do in England). And then we had a frivolous themed party when we got back. Perfect for juggling the numbers and family politics!
If you're struggling to remember what it is you originally wanted for your ideal wedding, this can help you get back on track or stay on track from day one.
