About the Author
Bill Harry is one of the world's leading authorities on the Beatles. He attended Liverpool College of Art with John Lennon, coined the phrase Mersey Beat and founded the seminar music paper of that name which led Brian Epstein to discover the Beatles. He is the author of over twenty books on the Beatles, including the series of sister volumes, The Beatles Encyclopedia, The John Lennon Encyclopedia and The Paul McCartney Encyclopedia, all published by Virgin Books.
